Katherine in her own bustle dress. As a victorian child her dress would have come to just below her knees but I made this to last!  It took about 4 years for the dress to become "correct" for a victorian child and be below the knees rather than floor length! Then I had to make another one!

This dress is made of a pale mint green and cream satin with a cotton collar and a big dark green satin bow over the bustle pad.

Looking like a regal victorian Lady.

The parasol is nearly bigger than her!

Looking up to mum in her bustle dress.

This is Katherines new bustle dress.  I have made a long polonaise type jacket to allow for upward growth! Made of dusky pink satin and cream lace.
