I made this outfit in January 2009 and was very lucky to find a genuine English boater hat with the same coloured ribbon for sale at the time. The sleeves have white braiding on them and the belt just finishes the whole look.
The shirt is buttoned up all down the back. The back of the skirt is still gathered at the back from the days of the bustle.
I made this Leg-O-Mutton sleeved jacket to finish of the "winter" outfit. It was a mission to find a Leg-O-Mutton sleeve pattern so I had to enlarge a much smaller version to get the right size. The belt has been moved from the skirt to the outside to hold in the loose bolero jacket.
And under all that is the obligatory corset, petticoats, stockings and boots!
